Exhibition Ikebana and Ceramic creations
in National Botanic Garden of Belgium in Meise April 11-13, 2009 from 10.30 a.m. until 5 p.m.

       
 

PROGRAM

   
  Saturday April 11 2009

 

10.00 a.m. (sharp): Raku workshop Atelier Cirkel
Headed by Patty Wouters (follow signs to workshop). Each participant has the opportunity to decorate and bake an already prepared vase and can take this home.

10 a.m. Get together and explanation by Patty
11 a.m. Decorated vases ready for placement in oven
Break for lunch
1.30 p.m. Finishing baked vases
2 p.m. End of workshop

Participation by transferring Euro 35 on bank account 310-0975585-45 of Ikebana International, latest March 30, 2009

2.00 p.m. (Sharp): Workshops Ikebana
Headed by teachers of various schools. We practice the basics of an arrangement and respond to all questions.

2.00 p.m. Ohara School : We provide all flowers and material. A bowl and a Japanese pricker (kensan) can be used but remain ownership of the organization. Flower arrangement can be taken home.

3.00 p.m. Sogetsu School: You make arrangements without vase or bowl. This is a free exercise. The teachers provide all material needed. You can take home the arrangement made.

4.00 p.m. Ikenobo School: More information to be provided by mail after registration.  

Registration by transferring Euro 7 per workshop on bank account of Ikebana International, with reference “workshop Ikebana” and indicating time and workshop. Number of participants limited to 10 persons per workshop. Registration latest March 30, 2009
